01:05 am - Hum Diddle
Not much has been going on.

Two days ago my car fried, so yesterday I got a new alternator and battery. I also got my new tires, so my car drives SO much nicer. I'm excited because I was afraid that I was going to die this weekend while driving to the UP.

I'm excited quite frankly! I get to see Martha and party with her for the night, then go see Flogging Molly at tech. It's going to be an awsome weekend.

Today Brad helped me redye my hair. Hopefully it'll be even this time around.

On Wednesday I gave my flower to a girl at the discount tire store, she looked like she was having a bad day.
Then today I gave my flower to Brad for helping me with me hair.

Yay.

So I decided to do one of those really long surveys here.

01:45 am - Ugh
Today wasn't all that exciting truthfully. I had an exam at 6:00 in Spanish, I think I did okay. I hope I did okay..

Afterward I went and picked Karah up and bought flowers at Meijer. I ended up giving one to a man standing in line who looked like he could use a flower. He gave it to his wife, which was sweet. Karah and I also left pennies on the Penny Horse for children to ride.

When I got home, i realized my battery light was low.. The moment I parked it died. We tried to restart it, but that didn't work. So in the morning my dad is coming to give me a new battery, then I'm off to get my new tires.

Yay. =D

01:21 am - Today Today
Well I finally dropped Painting 101. It was horrid. I thought it would be a fun learning experience, but in reality it was just a bunch of people sitting in a circle around random objects, not saying anything, and being lectured by the professor while he paints over their work to show what he thinks is good art. I hardly ever got any help with him, he was too busy at the front of the room all the time. The back was fairly neglected.

Anyway, with that extra time I decided to spend it with Amanda! She had classes in Mt Pleasant today, so she had free time after to just hang out. At first I took her to the apartments to give her the grand tour. Then we went off downtown to see some of the fun shops there. I showed her around campus, she really liked it! Then we decided to hit Kohls, since it just opened, to have a look around before we went off to see a movie. She really wanted to see the Grudge 2, so I opted to oblidge her and went to see it again. :)

It was just as good the second time, if not better since I knew how the time lapses worked.

So we came back to the apartment to hang out a bit, watched the governer's debate, then she headed off home. Now I'm sitting in my room, listening to a bit of music before I dive into my Spanish. Big test tomorrow.. ugh.

08:31 am - Starting Off
I thought I would keep a journal while I'm off at big ole college. Sadly enough a lot of fun stuff happened before I got off my lazy bum to make one. I tried a written journal once, but that didn't last very long. So, let's try LiveJournal, my old stomping grounds.

My Weekend -

The weekend was fun enough. Sort of? Well, on Thursday I headed home for my cousin's wedding on Saturday. My mum was pretty happy to see me, for the first time in a long time there wasn't an argument. I guess she likes me now. It was nice and I enjoyed visiting with my family.

Friday was long, but I managed to start on my Halloween costume that night. I'm being the pope for Halloween, so being a poor person I have to make the entire thing. The hat was what I worked on. It was constructed out of old poster board, ribbons, glue, glitter, and the occasional staple. I was quite proud with the result and ended up making my cat one as well. He wasn't too happy with me, but in his old age he quickly forgot in the midst of a good scratch while snuggling on the couch that evening. My mum had to take a picture of course! It's kinda cute, maybe I'll put it on here sometime.

Saturday was the wedding. I was woken up bright and early (12:pm :P) by my friend Shane. He wanted to hang out that day, but of course i had to go to the wedding. I didn't want to go by myself, since the whole thing was just horrid from the start. So, I invited him to come with me as my 'date' so I didn't have to be alone amidst all of the hate and chaos spewing from every pore in the church.

The entire time my aunt Audrey was whispering little things to me. Mostly about the wedding itself. When my cousin started down the isle, she promptly whispered into my ear," Here comes Bridezilla." She can be mean sometimes, but I like it. During the ceremony my cousin Stephanie would lean over every so often to whisper funny little things, like reminders from out trip to Tokyo.

"Secret shots," she'd whisper then grin and sit back in her seat. Then she would follow up minutes later with "Oh my god, I'm pretty!" I love her, she's fun.

We didn't stay for the reception, but decided to go see a movie instead. We saw 'The Grudge 2'. It was alright, scary enough. Sometimes the time lapses were a bit confusing, but in the end I figured it all out pretty quickly. A Grudge 3? I hope not, you can only redo a movie so many times before it's blatantly obvious that you're just trying to hard.

Sunday I got to hang out with Amanda all day, which was nice. I don't get to see her that often, so I enjoyed the time. I even helped her weed the garden outside of the Vet. Clinic she works at. It wasn't all that bad, but every time the neighbor's dogs would bark I would cringe at the all to vivid memory of the day the same dogs came after us while coming out of the clinic. She did a little presentation for me for her Herbology class, we played pool and darts, then that was the end of it. Just wish I could have spent a little more time with her. :)

When I got home, Sarah was bawling her eyes out on the couch over someone very close to her who is in France right now.. She was drunk and i ended up following Angie while she drived Sarah's car to the guy's parents house so I could take Angie back home..
And so now I'm sitting in my room, the little insomniac that I am. I enjoy it, sitting up her by myself. I just like up a cigarette and stare out my window into space while listening to music. It's nice, being able to sit in solitude and contemplate the universe.

Live hard,
Michele
